10 things to know about Jung Sky

Although we are an airline company founded almost 12 years ago (November 2009) and have been part of business aviation since 2011, it’s not rare our sales department receives questions like:

How many aircrafts do you have?
What type of jets do you have?
You have your own pilots?
Where are you based?
Do you have your own OCC department?

…etc.

Don’t get us wrong, this is something pretty understandable. The business aviation market is so immense and diverse that, no matter how often we communicate with our clients and passengers, it’s definitely not realistic to expect everyone will remember every single detail about us or any other business aviation operator.

So, in the spirit of getting to know us a little bit better or just establishing some facts that could be of service to you - our clients, current or potential, here are 10 things to know about Jung Sky:

     (1) BEGININGS
We are a business aviation operator, founded in 2009 and based in Zagreb, Croatia. We’re privately owned.
 

     (2) FLEET
Our fleet currently consists of two aircrafts, both Cessna 525A CJ2 (capacity: 6 pax). Base is in Zagreb (CRO). Few months ago, one of them went through a repainting job and came back to us in a brand new livery. More info and pictures are available on THIS PAGE. 
 

     (3) RANGE & FLIGHT OPS AREA
The range of our aircrafts is about 2,500 km (1,400 nautical miles) which allows a non-stop flight to most destinations in Europe and across the Mediterranean, including northern parts of Africa.
 

     (4) TEAM & CREW
Jung Sky consists of 26 people, nine of which are pilots. We have five captains who cumulatively between themselves have more than 24,000 of flight hours. If you would like to know more about our people, feel free to visit our TEAM PAGE.
 

     (5) PILOT EXPERIENCE
Our flight crew members are carefully selected. They undergo regular reviews and professional training at the world’s best training centers and are tested every six months in a special simulator preparing them for every situation imaginable.
 

     (6) OPERATIONAL CONTROL CENTER
We have our own operational control center / flight dispatch department enabling us to optimize the flight planning & preparation process. Also, in Feb '21, we introduced our new Head of the OCC department.  
 

     (7) FLIGHTS
In the last couple of years, Jung Sky has been performing between 1,100 and 1,300 flights per year.
 

   
     (8) AIRPORTS & COUNTRIES
On a yearly basis, Jung Sky crews land on more than 200 airports in approx. 40 different countries. 
 

     (9) TOP DESTINATIONS
In 2020, the top 15 destinations most visited by Jung Sky jets were Nice, Paris, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Split, Dubrovnik, Vienna, Zurich, Geneva, Munich, Bratislava, Belgrade, Kiev and Valletta (Malta).
